Attended an event last night. The roast pork meal was excellent and plentiful. Will definitely try an evening restaurant meal soon.
My husband, Daughters and Granddaughter spent three nights here in October 2017 to celebrate my Sister-in-laws70th Birthday. We found the service to be exceptional. The staff and Proprietors were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. It is obvious that some renovations are still required but they have done very well in the few months they have owned the premises.

I have tried the White Horse Inn in Launceston for the first time today as it is my local. First impressions were good as I was greeted warmly by the young lady behind the bar. I looked through the menu and selected a White Horse Burger & a gill of St Austell Ales "Tribute" from the menu. I have included images to prove this was a meal fit for Desperate Dan himself, twas cooked to perfection.. It had a Cornish Beef Burger topped with back bacon rashers, local cheeses & pulled pork which was accompanied with a tasty homemade sauce, I was additionally given a choice of French Fries or Chunky Chips, I chose the latter and there was also a piquant flavoured freshly prepared side salad. This I enjoyed immensely and would not hesitate to recommend "The White Horse Inn" to you all as a result. I will certainly be returning here and will keep you all updated on the service received etcetera.
Very clean and excellent food, especially the Sunday carvery dinner. You need to book first as they sell out fast

The Beechgrove Bed and Breakfast and Richard & Jane Herman provided for a memorable visit and whilst I was not there for a long stay, they strike me as being warm and welcoming. This B&B is a little jewel in easy reach of Launceston town centre close to a cosmopolitan shopping experience, nearby park for bracing walks including a dog friendly area, many eateries and parking aplenty. I was all the happier to leave The Beechgrove B&B with a small gift, having gleaned previously unknown facts. I would certainly return and am happy to recommend to you.
Near town center and easy to access, with beautiful back garden.

A lovely, older style B&B; typically English and centrally located in Launceston town centre. Great location to explore the Cornwall surrounds e.g. Lands End, Port Isaac, St Just, Penzance and St Ives, and Bude. Gillian and Keith were wonderful, hospitable hosts, providing beaut English breakfasts. Excellent value for money. We 3 adult Aussie females were extremely comfortable staying at Glencoe Villa. Thanks Gillian and Keith. Robyn and friends, Perth Western Australia.

Lovely place to stay 😀
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
