Cyclestreets.net is a brilliant little website for bicyclists. Just enter where you are and where you want to go and it will take you a proper cyclists route, tell you the distance, how quiet or otherwiseit will be and how many calories you will burn completing it.
This is extraordinary. You can actually choose a route to avoid unnecessary hills. Excellent for the part-time cyclist!

Launceston Cycles

Amazing service from a very friendly bike mechanic. Stopped on our way through on JOGLE (John O Groats to Lands End) cycle trip when bike needed emergency repairs. The staff were so quick to service my bike and even offered us a cup of tea while we waited. Amazing friendly service, would 100% recommend.

Snapped a gear cable with 90 miles to go on the last leg of JoG2LE; Nigel and Lisa were brilliant; very friendly and got me back on the road in time to finish the day. A reminder of why we need to support our local bike shops. Many Thanks.
